Checked on a subject in the 500 block of East 6th Street whose friends had not heard from. Subject was fine and advised to contact her friends.
Derelict vehicle reported in the 600 block of West 8th Street.
Non-injury vehicle crash on Highway 100 at Highway 47.

Officers responded to an alarm sounding in the 300 block of Lake View Dr.
Assisted WFD with a vehicle fire in the 200 block of Carriage Ct.
Stealing was reported in the 1700 block of A Roy Dr.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of Market St.
Day Shift Summary 10/14/2024
Found property turned in that was located on Matthia Close Road. The owner was located and it was returned.
Homeless activity on Washington Square. Subject was asked to move along.
Peace disturbance on South Point Road. Animal causing the issue was brought inside.
Fraud reported in the 300 block of West 3rd Street.
Leaving the scene of a crash reported in the 700 block of High Street. White SUV struck a parked vehicle and continued North on High Street.
Waste Connections had a truck breakdown and will not finish Monday routes tonight. The areas listed below on the Monday route will be the first priority for tomorrow morning. Please leave trash cans out for Tuesday collection.

Day Shift Summary 10/10/2024
Vehicle had been parked on A. Roy Drive for some time and was reported as derelict. It was found to have been reported as stolen out of Oklahoma.
Peace disturbance in the 1400 block of East 5th Street. Two male subjects arguing. They were advised to leave each other alone.
Non-injury traffic crash on East 6th Street at Washington Avenue. One of the drivers was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.
Subject was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of East 5th Street and Westway. The driver was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested.

Dog running at large in the 1000 block of Karen Lane. Owner was located.
Homeless activity in the 2000 block of Southbend Drive. Subject was asked to move along.
Dog running at large near Aquatic Circle Drive. Owner was located.
Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 near Bluff Road.
Assisted WFD in the 1700 block of West Main Street.
Assisted a motorist on Highway 100 near Vossbrink Drive.
Non-injury traffic crash on East 5th Street near Walnut Street.
