The Parks and Recreation’s mission is to contribute to a healthy community through an integrated system of exceptional parks, facilities, trails, recreation services, cultural, and environmental stewardship as mandated by the community through participatory and financial support.

The department manages 16 parks consisting of approximately 580 acres of parkland, green space and community gathering areas, 13 athletic fields, 6 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, 7 playgrounds, 15 miles of trails an an aquatic complex.
