Curbside Trash & Recycling Collection
Waste Connections (573) 678-2492 provides Curbside Trash & Recycling Collection for City residents. Trash collection occurs weekly. Recycling Collection occurs on the 1st and 3rd week of the month on your regularly scheduled collection day. You may place two bulky items out with your trash on the your last scheduled pickup of each month.
Please have all carts at the curb by 6 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day.
Please do not block trash cans when parking and leave space between the trash and recycle totes for pickup.
Trash Collection
Trash collection occurs weekly. Trash should be contained and placed to the curb by 6am on your designated trash collection day. Household garbage should be bagged and tied when placed to the cub for collection. If not using a toter, your trach can may not exceed 35 gallons and should not exceed a weight of 50lbs. Please do not park in front of trash containers to allow access for pickup.
Recycling Collection
Recycling Collection takes place on the 1st and 3rd week of every month on your regularly scheduled trash collection day. Recycling should be fully contained in your toter and placed to the curb by 6am on the morning of your recycling pickup. Please remember that recycling items should be left loose in an approved toter. Recyclables should be clean and dry and free of debris. Toter lid should be fully closed. All cardboard should be placed inside the toter. Cardboard outside of the toter will not be collected.
